This just in from Variety: Star Wars is coming to theaters and TV this year! You can look forward to seeing a movie which will start off The Clone Wars in August, which will be followed by 30-minute installments which will air on Cartoon Network. Episodes will also be broadcast on cable's TNT network.
The movie and television series will take place between the films Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, bringing back characters from the big screen like Obi-Wan Kenobi alongside characters featured in the comic books like Asajj Ventress. Several new characters are to be introduced in the series, and of course we expect tons of awesome toys, statues, busts, and more this holiday season.
International distribution of the animated show has yet to be fully confirmed, but you can read more at Variety! |
