Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a 2005 fantasy film directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp. Based on the Roald Dahl children's novel of the same name, the film also stars Freddie Highmore as Charlie Bucket and is the second film adaptation of the book.
