Dora the Explorer
Dora the Explorer is an American animated television series for preschool-age children that is broadcast on the Nickelodeon cable television network in the United States. A pilot episode aired in 1999, and Dora became a regular series in 2000. The extremely successful show was created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner. The series also airs on Noggin, the Nickelodeon-owned channel for preschoolers, and was on CBS until September of 2006.
