| | | FurReal Friends | | FurReal Friends is a toy brand division of Hasbro created in 2002 that sells Japanese electronic/robotic pets made by Sega. One of FurReal's first toys to be produced, the FurReal Cat was a huge hit during the 2002 holiday season, becoming scarce at some toy retailers. In 2006, the Butterscotch Pony also became a popular toy during that holiday season. One of the newer additions to the FurReal Friends is the Squawkers McCaw that looks, sounds, and acts like a real Macaw. Other recent additions include the Newborn Piglet and Newborn Lamb.
