Pullip Fashion Dolls
First released in 2003, Pullip Dolls are distinguished by their large eyes, oversized heads, and highly articulated bodies. Pullips also have a unique eye mechanism that includes levers to move their eyes from side to side and push-buttons to blink each eye. The dolls are often personalized or customized, and each comes with a unique outfit and accessories. Later dolls may include wigs, changeable eye color, trading cards, and a stand.
The chief characters in the Pullip line are Pullip. Taeyang, Dal, and Byul. Pullip is an active, extroverted, cheerful girl who participates in her high school's drama club, plays swing music in a big band, and enjoys scuba diving. Taeyang is Pullip’s boyfriend and a handsome young man who is studying musical composition in college. Dal is Taeyang's little sister, who adores her brother and who's best friend is Byul. Innocent and delicate, Byul, in turn, has a big crush on Pullip’s little brother Isul.
