i-Dog

i-Dog is an electronic toy manufactured by Hasbro and Sega. There are also i-Cat and i-Fish. The toy plays music and its "owner" pretends to pet and feed the dog. i-Dog is capable of playing music back through an integrated speaker, while it dances to the rhythm. The 7 lights on its face are used to display the dog's emotions. These range from loneliness to happiness and change depending on the music that is “fed” to it, or as a response to the owner's touch. The playback is achieved through a standard headphone/mic jack on the i-Dog. i-Dog can also function wirelessly when placed near speakers or in an area with music.
