For those of you looking for a specific figure to complete your collection, we offer a wide variety of action figures in both mint condition packaging and not mint condition packaging.
How do we determine when we sell action figures individually?
- When a manufacturer releases a single figure in a solid case pack (for example, Janis Joplin comes in a case of 12), we will sell the figure individually in mint condition.
- When we receive not mint cases from the manufacturer, we will open them and sell these figures individually in not mint condition. These figures are only available in limited numbers, and may not be added to our web site for a significant time after the initial release.
- When we have a large quantity of cases that can be divided into individual figures without the possibility of creating a short pack problem (for example, some older cases of Star Wars figures), we will sell these figures individually in either mint or not mint condition. A short pack problem usually happens on newer cases of action figures when every collector wants a certain figure, but the manufacturer only includes one in a case of twelve or sixteen. This creates more demand then supply. While other dealers of action figures will significantly increase the price of these items, we won't. We will sell these rare items in sets or cases.

Sometimes manufacturers evenly pack a series of four or six action figures in cases. After a new item is released and arrives at our warehouse, we verify the case breakdown (the number of each character in a case). If it is an even packed case, we will oftentimes split it up and sell action figures as a complete set (for example, SNL Series 1 4-pack, Silent Screamers 4-Pack, etc.). If it is not even, we will continue to sell it in as a full case.

All action figures are sent to us from manufacturers in full cases. Many larger manufacturers sell action figures with the intention that these are actually toys designed for kids to play with (sorry adults!). Because of this very important reason, you will find mixed ratios of figures in cases not necessarily for what we, as collectors, would want. With Star Wars, for example, Hasbro intentially releases action figure cases with more of the main common characters then the odd rarer characters. Main common characters end up on the shelves of major toy stores where kids recognize and buy more of them.
Collectors, on the other hand, want one of every character. Because Hasbro will not change their ways, we felt the only way to give collectors what they wanted was to offer full cases of action figures for sale. We were one of the first companies to offer full cases of action figures when we launched in 1996.
These cases come straight from the manufacturer to us, are inspected for mint condition, and are re-shipped to you. We do not look for variations, or remove the short packed rare items. Collectors will get at least one of every action figure in that particular "wave" of release. Because manufacturers can and do change characters and case breakdowns prior to the actual release date, we sell these cases with a "subject to change" warning. We will rarely take orders for individual action figures within these cases before they physically arrive here at our warehouse.
We sell full cases so that prices for all figures, rare and common alike, remain the same. We've created a win-win situation for every collector. You pay retail prices for all action figures, but don't have to spend time hunting around for them.
