12 inch British Paratrooper:From the 12 inch Elite Force World War II Series comes the Sgt. Neil Williams British Paratrooper action figure. Featuring a fully poseable action body, this 1/6th scale authentic collector figure includes diecast metal weapons and accessories.
The British Airborne Forces were born in June of 1940 when Winston Churchill called for the formation of "a corps of at least five thousand parachute troops, suitably organized and equipped". from there the British Airborne grew from battalion to regimental strength and operated throughout the European Theatre including Africa, Greece, Italy and in France on D-Day.
Actions include the British 6th Airborne Division on the Orne River and the 1st Airborne Division at Arnhem in the largest airborne drop in history, Operation Market Garden, where they suffered extremely heavy losses.
