Appleseed Commemorative Figures Case Description:
This year, anime and manga fans will be treated to the first ever feature length adaptation of Masamune Shirow's APPLESEED as it has never been seen, in splendid 3DCG (3D computer generation). These highly detailed, highly articulated action figures drawn from the film commemorate of this event. Each figure stands between 6.25-inches and 7.75-inches, features 17 points of articulation and come equipped with multiple weaponry including removable ammo clips all sealed in blister card packaging. This case of 6 individually packaged action figured includes: 3x Deunan and 3x Briareos.
In 1985, master artist and storyteller Masamune Shirow (Ghost in the Shell) introduced in APPLESEED a vision of the future which was to become the standard by which all other sci-fi/cyberpunk manga were to be judged. Amidst a dark, apocalyptic world lies a utopia where humans co-exist for survival with man-made hybrid machines. But not all is peaceful or as it seems. Deunan and her cyborg companion Briareos are drawn into the undercurrent of betrayal and deception.
