Bilbo Baggins Bust Description:
This amazingly detailed 1:4 scale bust has been hand cast in heavy weight polystone and hand painted to the highest standards. This bust sits on a classically turned base that includes Bilbo Baggins' name and the sculptor's signature (Jamie Beswarick). Standing 6 3/4 inches tall, this statue is produced by Sideshow Toys and the Weta Workshop - the Special Effects Company that created the effects for all three "Lord of the Rings" films. From Sideshow/WETA's Lord of The Rings Series 3.
An old and kind-hearted Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins was the uncle and guardian of young Frodo. Weary in his bones and wanting to see the mountains and old friends one more time before the end, Bilbo resolved to leave his home for the last time and travel to the Elf-haven of Rivendell. With a deep sadness, and choked by the memories of green fields and happy times, he looked one last time on the Shire before turning to be on his way.
