Easterling Mini-Helmet Description:
From Sideshow / WETA's Return of the King Series 1. This cast metal helm (helmet) is an exact 1:4 scale miniature of the Easterling Helmet used in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy of feature films. It has been expertly recreated by the same metalsmiths who made the full scale pieces for the films and sits on a classically turned pedestal tha includes the name of the helm and the sculptor's signature.
A fearsome people from the arid lands to the East, the Easterlings wore elaborately fashioned helmets enruned with their unusual glyphs and script. Tall crests rose above their pointed domes cutting aggressive silhouettes to intimidate their enemies.
