GM Fishbowl Triboro Coach Corporation Die-Cast Bus Description:
Destination: La Guardia. Take a ride on a classic bus to La Guardia Airport with this remarkable GM Fishbowl Triboro Coach Bus from Corgi. The exceptionally detailed die-cast reproduction is crafted at 1:50 scale and measures 2-inches tall x 11-inches long. It makes a wonderful addition to any high-end vehicle collection.
In 1919, the Woodside-Astoria Transportation Company began operating a bus line in Queens County, NY. In 1931, the company was incorporated with its present name, Triboro Coach Corporation. Triboro continued to handle Queens' bus riders until 2006, when all private bus lines in New York were taken over by the Manhattan Transit Authority.
