NBA Historical Beginnings Wilt Chamberlain Statue Description:
Wilt Chamberlain, a four-time NBA MVP (1960, '66 -'68), was one of the most dominant centers the league has ever seen. And it was the 1966-67 season that finally pushed Wilt to the top of the NBA ladder when his Philadelphia 76ers won the league title. In a best-of-seven tussle with the San Francisco Warriors in the finals, the Sixers prevailed four games to two as Wilt averaged 17.7 points and an astonishing 28.7 rebounds per game. Wilt was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1978. Relive Chamberlain's first championship season in the pros with this 10 1/2-inch tall Historical Beginnings statue.
