Pre-dating Jason’s wildly famous campground slayings, it was his mother Pamela’s murder spree that earned Camp Crystal Lake the nickname "Camp Blood". In the original horror classic, it was revealed that Pamela Voorhees was the deadly stalker that terrorized a group of wary teenagers, avenging the supposed death of her son, Jason.
