WWII USAAF Pilot Figure Description:
The WWII Pearl Harbor Elite Force USAAF Pilot, Lt. "Doc" Miller 12 inch action figure. Featuring a fully posable action body, this 1/6th scale authentic collector figure includes die-cast metal weapons and accessories, and a custom expression mechanism.
Late in 1941 the United States was not well prepared for war with Japan and the attack on the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor caught the forces there by surprise. Amongst the equipment available to the Air Force at that time was the Curtis P-40 Warhawk. This fighter had already distinguished itself in combat in the hands of the famous "Flying Tigers" in China. Unfortunately, the majority of these aircraft were destroyed on the ground in the attack on Pearl and those that were able to take to the air were no match for the superior numbers of the Japanese. The P-40 pilots were valiant and courageous despite being ill prepared.
