The Dark Angels are stubborn and relentless in battle, ever vigilant and zealous in their pursuit of their duties. A trait that is constantly evident in their combat doctrine. On the Agri world of Tollard they were implacable in their victory over the forces of Chaos. Brother Hyrion was a member of the 3rd company that were involved during the conflict and met the forces of Chaos on constant occasions. One occasion was the attack on Imperial Outpost 341VC2. Under heavy fire and outnumbered the Dark Angels planned a counter-attack. Hyrion’s and his brother Marines advanced slowly towards the attacking Chaos forces. Their fire was sure and steady, even as they stepped between the bodies of the fallen. Veteran Sergeant Ostavia bellowed commands through Hyrion’s head set as he leveled his boltgun and loosened a volley of fire, bringing down another of the vile scum. Their advance was unfaltering and slowly the Chaos Marines began to fall back. The night echoed a constant stream of fire and at last the warriors of Chaos turned to retreat. Utterly shattered by the Dark Angels’ stubborn defense and counter-attack, the surviving Chaos Marines slipped back into the darkness giving the Dark Angels time to regroup before beginning the hunt.
