Based on the commemorative christening plates affixed to the bulkheads of ships, this spec plate was designed by a group of Naval architects from Seattle.
The Imperial Star Destroyer is one of the best known (and most feared) vessels in the Galactic Empire's vast arsenal of weapons and ships, and therefore has quite a bit of detailed technical information available to the right Rebel… if they know who to ask. Fortunately, we've got an inside man in the Galactic Empire who's been able to grab some tech-spec plates of the Empire's Star Destroyers. But he was only able to smuggle out a small number, at risk of execution.
