Would anyone have guessed that when Walt Disney and his brother Roy started the Disney Brothers Studio in 1923 it would be the revenue-producing behemoth it is today of Disney toys, games, clothing, drinking mugs, figures, posters, and more? You name it, and Disney probably makes it! And let's not forget how the studio achieved its initial success by becoming the king of the animation industry. The studio created such iconic characters as Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Snow White, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, and so many others, most if not all of which have been turned into figurines over the years.

With the company's expansion over time into live-action films, TV, and theme parks, (not only the two U.S. parks in California and Florida, but all over the world), it's no wonder that the Walt Disney Company is one of the largest media conglomerates in revenue production in the world.
Diversification into more mature films and content through its corporate divisions has allowed the company to generate all kinds of memorabilia. In fact, besides its own Disney TV network, Disney owns ESPN and ABC. Disney is also behind the movie juggernaut that is Marvel Studios, which has produced so many successful movies featuring Marvel Comics superheroes.
Disney action figures are always popular, of course, and Disney Infinity figures are an excellent and welcome addition. These collectible figures were created to synchronize with one of the video games. Published in 2013 by Disney Interactive Studios after its creation by Avalanche Software, Disney Infinity is one of the more exciting products available, allowing characters from various Disney and Pixar movies to interact with each other in numerous adventures. The game expanded in 2014 to include characters from the Marvel universe, and characters from Marvel, the Pirates of the Caribbean, and other Disney creations are available through Entertainment Earth.
There is so much other merchandise for the avid Disney toys collector to choose from, and any number of Disney characters can be found as statues. Do you have a favorite Disney movie? What better way to give yourself a fond daily reminder of it than a character or two from that film? Do you have a child who loves Disney TV? How about buying mini-figures of characters from those shows? Or better yet, children can use their imaginations to create their own stories with Disney playsets! Whether it's to create action scenes using Spider Man, Iron Man, Thor, or any of your favorite Marvel superheroes, or just to add to your shelf of collectible figures, there are more than enough action figures to choose from.
Walt Disney and his brother, Roy may have had only animated cartoons, movies, and a mouse named Mickey in mind when they started Disney Brothers Studios so many years ago, but what it became is not just one of the most successful media companies in history, but also one of the biggest purveyors of toys, games, and just plain fun anywhere!
