Domo is the mascot of Japan's NHK television station, appearing in several 30-second, stop-motion sketches shown as station identification during shows. Domo, the main character, is described on the English-language official website as "a strange creature that hatched from an egg." The name "Domo" was acquired during the 2nd episode of his show in which a TV announcer said, "doumo, konnichiwa," which is a formal greeting meaning something along the lines of either "Well, hello there!" or "Hello, Domo!" and thus is a convenient dajare (Japanese pun). The "kun" suffix on "Domo-kun" is a friendly title often used with young males.
Bummer! We don’t have any Domo items available right now, but be sure to check back often as we add new merchandise to our site daily.
"I preordered all 8 Yellowjackets Funko Pops. They arrived early and in perfect condition. 6 were snug in a second box, and the 2 that didn't fit were individually wrapped in bubble wrap. Had Entertainment Earth been in charge of getting them to Nationals, we could have avoided all that cannibalism."
