Hello Kitty is arguably the best-known character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio. Easily recognized by her red bow and notable absence of a mouth, Kitty is very simply drawn. As the story goes, she's a perpetual 3rd grader who lives near London and whose birthday is November 1. Her fictional world includes an array of friends and family members, such as the popular Keroppi Hasunou and his brother Koroppi and sister Pikki.
