From the 12 inch Elite Force World War II Series comes the Australian Infantry "New Guinea 1944" Corp. "Paddy" Ryan action figure. Featuring a fully poseable action body, this 1/6th scale authentic collector figure includes diecast metal weapons and accessories. Accessories include: two pairs of bare hand, Slouch hat, Jungle beret, Combat harness, Tropical shirt, Vest, Tropical trousers, A pair of leggings, Belt, Australian boots, Watch, SMLE MKIII Rifle, SMLE MKIII Rifle magazine x 2 with bullet x 2, Machete, Machete scabbard, MKI Bayonet, MKI Bayonet scabbard, Scabbard holder, Chain sword, Water bottle with water bottle carrier, Basic pouch x 2, A small pack, and dog tags. In February of 1943 the Australian Imperial Force troops left the Suez to return and defend their homeland and neighboring regions against the Japanese Forces. The "Diggers" were involved in grim struggles against overwhelming forces in New Britain, Borneo, the Solomons and New Guinea. One of the most famous campaigns was the battle for the Kokoda Trail in the Owen Stanley Mountains. During these campaigns the Australians became effective jungle fighters and halted the Japanese advance.
