Description
Hellboy Life-Size Faux-Bronze Bust:Cast in fiberglass and polystone, this life-size bust measures over 20-inches tall! The Hellboy 1:1 scale bust sits atop a red stone pillar display base complete with Matt Rose's signature and the edition info.
This immense, full-scale bust was created during pre-production work on the Hellboy film directed by Guillermo del Toro. The bust captured the style, attitude, and spirit of Hellboy, true to Mike Mignola's vision, and served as the actual 3-D design study used to establish Ron Perlman as the perfect "Hellboy" as well as to help sell the film's concept. True to the original sculpture, the Hellboy bust retains every detail of the original rough that shaped the title character's rugged appearance. Images of the original bust can be seen on disc 2 of the Hellboy DVD set, and in the book, Hellboy: The Art of the Movie.
