Description
LOTR Mini-Helmets #3 Case:From Sideshow/WETA's Lord of The Rings Series 3. These cast metal helms (helmets) are exact 1:4 scale miniatures of the helmets used in "Fellowship of the Ring," the first film in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. They have been expertly recreated by the same metalsmiths who made the full-scale pieces for the films. Each sits on a classically turned pedestal that includes the name of the helm and the sculptor's signature. This case of 12 helms includes: 3x Elendil's Helm, 3x Moria Orc Helm, 3x Isildur's Helm and 3x Gandalf's Hat (subject to change).
A great King of Men in Middle-earth's Second Age, Elendil wore into battle a lofty silver helm, emblazoned with his heraldry and bearing the feather-textured sea birds' wings his people revered.
Wrought of rough metals and sharpened to lethal points, the cruel helms of the Orcs of Moria were among the many devilish weapons and defenses devised by the servants of Evil.
Isildur, son of King Elendil, marched into war against the Forces of Darkness wearing an elegant helmet, trimmed with stars and sea birds' wings, emblems of his people, the Numenoreans of the Second Age of Middle-earth.
With it's tall peak and wide brim, the old weathered hat of the Wizard Gandalf was unmistakable, and the sight of it bobbing behind the hedgerows heralded to the Hobbits his welcome return whenever he visited the Shire.
