This Neon Genesis Evangelion EVA Unit-04 PVC action figure features an innovative joint system called Revoltech that allows the figure to demonstrate any kind of realistic pose. The figure stands 5-6-inches tall and has multiple points of articulation. EVA Unit-04 comes equipped with an umbilical cable, interchangeable weapons and a set of interchangeable hands.

Unit-04 was supposed to be a new advancement in Evangelion technology. The armor and weaponry was supposedly superior to previous EVAs. Also, Unit-04 featured the Super Solenoid (or S-2) engine, which was the same source of power the Angels used. The S-2 engine eliminated the need to have an external power umbilical, as well as emergency batteries. Ironically, Unit-04 was completely destroyed in an explosion when it's S-2 system failed. Gainax's classic sci-fi and mecha series has seen multitudes of re-releases from ADV and copycats that try to duplicate the success of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The popular show has a strong following and is continually gaining more fans from its airing on the Cartoon Network.
