Even though the series was short lived the character was extremely well received by readers. One short year later Spider-Man was granted his own series, "The Amazing Spider-Man" which has since become one of the longest running books in comic book history. Spider-Man, to this day remains one of the most recognizable Super Heroes worldwide!
