Paramount Pictures has unveiled a batch of more than 25 new high-resolution photos from this weekend’s upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. The adaptation by Jonathan Liebesman includes stars Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Will Arnett, Danny Woodburn, and William Fichtner.
The new stills appear to be a mixture between more humorous tones alongside more brash action shots, and take a close look at Shredder, Splinter, April O’Neil, and the turtles themselves.
In the Ninja Turtles CGI film, the future seems grim in New York City as the evil Shredder and his vile Foot Clan maintain an iron grip over police and politicians, wielding immense power over the city’s helpless inhabitants until 4 unlikely heroes rise to stop him. The 4 brothers, along with reporter April O’Neil and wise-cracking camera man Vern Fenwick, form a team in the hopes of stopping Shredder before his diabolical scheme unfolds.
Whether Paramount Pictures will succeed in their apparent efforts to attract fans from the Guardians of the Galaxy bandwagon remains to be seen.
