Director Peyton Reed just announced on Twitter that filming for Ant-Man the movie has begun! The release date for this stellar superhero flick is July 17, 2015.

The film stars Michael Douglas as Doctor Hank Pym and Paul Rudd as con man turned superhero, Scott Lang. In the film, scientist Pym and con man Lang must join forces in order to protect the world from a new generation of threats. Also joining the cast are Corey Stoll and Evangeline Lilly.
