It’s official! Fans are now able to order their very own Dancing Groot Pop! Vinyl Bobble Head! Last Friday, Funko and Marvel announced their upcoming Dancing Baby Groot Pop! Vinyl. The Dancing Groot Pop! is the sixth Guardians of the Galaxy Pop! Vinyl figure from Funko and Marvel.
Ryan Penagos, Executive Editorial Director of Marvel Digital Media, announced the big news via twitter.
The ending scene in the hit blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy showcases baby Groot’s charming dance moves to The Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back.” Originally set as the after credits scene, director James Gunn moved the sequence so every audience member could see the swaying alien tree.
Since baby Groot’s dance moves hit the screen, fans clamored to have a potted Groot of their own. Many fans even created their own DIY potted versions.
The dancing Groot Pop! Vinyl Bobble Head is now available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth and is currently slated to arrive in December 2014. Also available as Pop! Vinyl Bobble Heads are Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, and Howard the Duck. Collect them all today!
