Fans of the hit TV show American Horror Story have something exciting to look forward to this October! Following the success of season 3’s ‘Coven’, ‘Freak Show’ is bound to engage and thrill fans, if not terrify them a bit as well. As if waiting for American Horror Story: Freak Show wasn’t hard enough, FX has (probably) released all of the trailers leading up to the grand season premiere on October 8th. You can view all eight trailers below!

Five official trailers are meant to introduce American Horror Story: Freak Show. Each one shows us a glimpse into the world of a “freak show”, depicting what one may or may not see if they were to step into the tent. From caged humans to split tongued men, it seems that FX is finally putting the horror back into our beloved horror story!

Three trailers have additionally surfaced in the last day that are not confirmed to be official by FX; that being said, they certainly take the cake for the scariest trailers yet. While perhaps not official, these three trailers are definitely worth your time if you’re into spooky – and if you’re reading this article, I’m just going to assume you are. Beware: If you fear clowns, these are not the trailers to watch!

The American Horror Story creators certainly have a knack for amping up excitement for their upcoming seasons. Let’s take a look back at season 3’s Coven, for instance. Coven premiered eight trailers before officially releasing the opening credits for the series. Should the three new additional trailers be official, they will round of the trailer release leading to Freak Show’s premiere – which means an opening credits sequence is just within our grasp!
