The Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer: Never Let Your Guard Down

This trailer teases the explosive and brutal upcoming season of the hit AMC television series. After an intense, violent season 4, fans can look forward to all that and more in the next season. Even fans of the original comic don’t know what to expect, since the show both deviates from and follows the comic’s story.
What the hell is going on in Terminus? The trailer opens with Rick Grimes and company as captives to the inhabitants of Terminus. Gareth seems intent on taking out Rick and his survivors, saying “We didn’t want to hurt you . . . Nothing was personal.” It looks personal from where I’m sitting.
With walkers coming after the crew (again), it’s hunt or be hunted for our heroes. Even young Carl is hunting walkers. Michonne, Maggie, Tyreese – they’re all here and they’re all fighting to survive.
A calm Rick reminds his son to be cautious moving forward, “It’s not over till they’re all dead, they don’t get to live. No matter what anyone says, no matter what you think, you are not safe. It only takes one second and it’s over. Never let your guard down.”
Based on the comic created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, Season Five of “The Walking Dead” premieres Sunday, October 12 at 9:00pm ET/PT. It stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chad Coleman, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Emily Kinney, Danai Gurira and Sonequa Martin-Green.
