The DC Comics Zatanna Bishoujo Statue continues the oustanding Bishoujo statue line from Kotobukiya!
Zatanna’s design was released in their Summer and Winter 2014 catalog, showcasing a feminine take on the classic magician look with sultry fishnet stockings, high heeled boots, a black bodysuit, a top hat, and wand. This design was based on character art by renowned illustrator Shunya Yamashita.
This highly detailed 1:7 scale sculpts stands approximately 10-inches tall and brings the magician to life. Zatanna is frozen mid-performance, prepared to pull something truly extraordinary from her hat. The beguiling sorceress leans to the side, aiming her wand at the hat.
From the ruffles on her blouse to the red lining of her tuxedo jacket, the details are palpable. Her long, flowing hair wisps gracefully away from her face, just as the tails of her coat jacket flow in the breeze. Her outfit is completed with a yellow vest over her black bodysuit, thigh high boots, fishnet stockings, white gloves, and a red rose on her lapel.
Sculpted by Takaboku Busujima (Busujimax), Zatanna stands atop a designed display base. Stand her beside other DC Comics Bishoujo statues on your shelf for a truly magical display.
Zatanna first appearred in Hawkman #4 in 1964 as the daughter of famous stage magician Giovanni “John” Zatara. As both a stage magician and real magician, Zatanna also worked with the Justice League, Batman, and the Sentinels of Magic.
Zatanna is currently available for pre-order at Entertainment Earth and is currently slated for a September 2015 arrival.
