Will we be seeing glimpses of Princess Diana of Themyscira sooner than we anticipated?
Deadline recently reported that DC’s Wonder Woman film is set to begin production this fall. Gal Gadot dons the eagles of the titular role as Diana Prince in the solo film.
With production and filming starting this year, we’re hopeful that we’ll get a good behind the scenes look at what’s coming for the Amazonian princess.
Gadot’s Wonder Woman will be present in Batman vs Superman, which is set for release on March 25, 2016.
Her solo film is currently slated for release on June 23, 2017, with Wonder Woman joining Justice League Part 1 later that year. With the rumors of a Wonder Woman trilogy set against different historical settings, we’re excited to see how Wonder Woman transcends the chronicled history to meet the Justice League.
With Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones directing alum Michelle MacLaren at the helm, we’re sure that the upcoming Wonder Woman film will be executed wonderfully.
