This trailer showcases an epic battle between Iron Man in the Hulkbuster unit and the Hulk himself. With Robert Downey Jr. quipping in his sarcastic Tony Stark way, the seemingly one-sided conversation isn’t as awkward as it could otherwise be.
While we see the Hulk ripping apart the Hulkbuster armor, it’s not good versus evil in the typical sense. Stark states “That little witch is messing with your mind,” confirming that Scarlet Witch uses her powers to turn the Avengers against each other.
This will likely be one of the biggest scenes in the film, so I’m not entirely sure why we’re seeing it now. Some people are thrilled to get a taste of what’s to come, while others want the shock of seeing it for the first time on the big screen.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olson, Aaron Johnson, Cobie Smulders, Paul Bettany, and James Spader. It’s slated to premiere on May 1st.
