Indominus Rex Proves Most Threatening Dinosaur Yet in New Trailer

“They’re dinosaurs. Wow enough.”

The newest trailer for Jurassic World brings us closer than ever to Indominus Rex.

Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) open the trailer by discussing just why there’s a new dinosaur on the prowl. Attendance spikes with new attractions so the logical conclusion was to create a new hybrid dinosaur. But should they have?

We see more velociraptor training as well as an extended look at some of the park’s attractions, from a wildlife safari type ride to a viewing tank (not unlike Sea World) and more.

In this trailer, Pratt’s character appears to understand the genetically modified dinosaur more than the scientists who created her. And Indominus Rex is not just an animal – she is a highly intelligent animal who hunts for sport.

This trailer packs the action into just under three minutes and hints to the greater development of the film. According to one of Brady’s associates, the dinosaurs are communicating with one another. Maybe Indominus Rex isn’t the only antagonist of the film.

Jurassic World hits theaters on June 12, 2015 and stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus, and Andy Buckley.
