We may have just found out who will be playing Iron First a.k.a. Danny Rand as part of Marvel’s Defenders on Netflix – Ryan Philippe!
Speaking with Howard Stern, the actor revealed he’s in talks with Marvel: “Marvel is interested in talking about a Netflix series, possibly. The Daredevil series is great.”
Iron First is the only Defender who hasn’t been cast yet. Daredevil aired recently to great reviews, A.K.A. Jessica Jones is currently filming, with a series on Luke Cage and Iron Fist to follow before the big team-up in Marvel’s Defenders.
Iron Fist is a superhero who is a martial arts expert. He is a wielder of the mystical force known as the Iron Fist which allows him to focus his natural energy and enhance his natural abilities to extraordinary levels.
He joins the other three Defenders as street-level heroes in the Marvel universe.
Or maybe Philippe will be in Season 2 of Daredevil?
