Disney to Bring Back the Adventuring Archaeologist in the Hat

When Disney acquired the rights to Lucasfilm, they got much more than Star Wars. In covering the new film in a galaxy far, far away, Vanity Fair also got to talk to LucasFilm president Kathleen Kennedy about the other titles now part of the House of Mouse.

Some of the titles include Willow, Radioland Murders, and, of course, Indiana Jones.

Fans have been wondering about the adventuring archaeologist since Disney and Lucasfilm made the deal in 2012.

Vanity Fair’s Bruce Handy was able to ask Kennedy about it and she confirmed that another Indiana Jones movie “will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.”

It’s definitely far off and we don’t know who will play Indy (or write or direct, for that matter) but Kennedy sounds confident.

So what do you think? Do you want another Indiana Jones film? Who would you want to play him? Sound off in the comments!
