“Great Scott!”
That’s exactly what we said when we watched the latest trailer for the upcoming video game, LEGO Dimensions, starring none other than Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown! Watch it below to see why we were geeking out so much.
The game, coming from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, and The LEGO Group, is a toys-to-life- video game, similar to Disney Infinity, Skylanders, and Nintendo Amiibos.
Using LEGO mini-figures, you’ll get to create scenarios crossing over some of the biggest franchises including Batman, The Lord of the Rings, The Wizard of Oz, The LEGO Movie, and, of course, Back to the Future.
In the trailer, Doctor Emmet Brown receives a package from the game, including a mini-figure of himself. He creates his scenario and as it powers up, he exclaims: “Great Scott!” Lloyd can’t keep the goofy grin off his face as he says it, and neither can we.
The trailer then shows a mash-up of several clips from the game, which look like a lot of fun.
LEGO Dimensions will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on September 27, 2015.
