Fast-forward 37 years when Pierce Brosnan paid tribute to Connery in Die Another Day. The original prop is seen in the film but Brosnan gets an updated one to use when he, once again, sneaks into an enemy lair. This “rebreather” was more practical and comfortable for the wearer.
