The cast that tattoos together stay together? I’m not sure if that’s true but it seems to be the motto of the Suicide Squad cast who posted photos giving each other matching tattoos on social media yesterday!
They’re not the first cast to get matching tattoos – the nine main characters from Lord of the Rings did this, but the big difference is that they didn’t give each other the tattoos.
It all started when director David Ayer tweeted these photos:

Margot Robbie, who’s playing the popular Harley Quinn, posted the first photo to Instagram as well.
This opened the flood gates as other cast members started posting photos of their matching “SKWAD” tattoos.
At least Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg) warns us never to get a tattoo from Will Smith (Deadshot). The photo reads: “Will has many many talents, tattooing is not one of them. It was like watching a drunk baby fly a helicopter.”
Poor Will. (Or is it poor Joel?)
Guess they’re really hoping the film is a smash hit now more than ever.
The interesting question this raises is Harley’s role as a tattoo artist. Is this an occupation she picks up in the film once becoming the Harley Quinn we all know and love? Cast photos are fun and all but we want the movie details, Ayer.
Suicide Squad is set to come out on August 5, 2016. It will be directed by David Ayer and star Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Scott Eastwood, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Jim Parrack and Adam Beach.
