Say Goodbye to Productivity: Star Wars Facebook Releases Interactive Video from The Force Awakens

The anticipation of Star Wars: The Force Awakens grows more and more every day. Luckily, the marketing behind this movie has been smart and not overdone.

That continues today because the official Star Wars Facebook page released a unique, interactive video:

As the video plays, all you have to do is click and drag and you can explore the planet of Jakku in an awesome, 360 experience!

Jakku is the desert planet that’s been featured in both the first and second trailer.

It’s where many people believe Finn crash lands in his Stormtrooper uniform and meets Rey. It’s also where we see the Millennium Falcon flying and dodging the First Order. Clearly, it’s a planet that’s going to be quite important.

While this video doesn’t really give away much in the form of story hints, it sure is fun!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams and starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, and Max von Sydow is set to come out on December 18, 2015.

What do you think of Jakku? Let us know in the comments!
