Captain America: Civil War Is Already Shattering Records and Appearing on the Cover of EW

If you’re like me, you’ve watched the first official trailer for Captain America: Civil War a number of times already.

But we’re not the only one, it seems!

Marvel revealed the trailer racked up a staggering 61 million global views on YouTube in the first 24 hours alone, shattering previous records held by Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

To say that people are excited for this film would be an understatement.

It’s dominating entertainment chatter right now, and Entertainment Weekly is dedicating this week’s issue to the upcoming superhero film. Check out the cover!

… Complete with Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) saying “meow.”

The issue will go behind the scenes of the film and shed some light on its plot. To give you a taste, here’s what actor Chris Evans had to say about the film in the issue: “In most of the movies, there’s no question who we should be siding with. We all agree Nazis are bad, aliens from space are bad. But this movie’s the first time where you really have two points of view. It becomes a question of morality and I don’t think [Cap] has ever been so uncertain with what right and wrong is.”

Captain America: Civil War, stars Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey. Jr, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Daniel Brühl, Chadwick Boseman, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Emily VanCamp, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle, is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
