It starts interesting enough, with a tense conversation between Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) and Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck, who honestly seems great in the role) that doesn’t at all try to hide the Jason Todd storyline, as they both throw jabs about each other’s city.
Then Jesse Eisenberg shows up as Lex Luthor’s son, Alexander Luthor, Jr., and his hammy performance is definitely interesting. There are already split opinions on it. Watch for yourself!
There’s a pretty big spoiler near the end of the trailer which might upset fans, but what comes out of it is awesome.
There are some great moments in the trailer, like Superman’s heat vision and the totally badass Wonder Woman entrance, although it’s somewhat tonally inconsistent. Still, it’s setting up to be a big and exciting film and we can’t wait!
