Disney Wins at Super Bowl with New Captain America: Civil War and Jungle Book Trailers

Last night was Super Bowl 50 and what was the best part? Beyoncé.

Okay, second best part. The commercials, of course! Ads have become a big part of Super Bowl culture over the years and yesterday was no different. The seemingly endless supply of new movie trailers was one of the highlights.

Disney aired two trailers during the big game, both of which got plenty of people talking.

First was Captain America: Civil War with a relatively short trailer, but one that packed a lot of punch with plenty of new footage.

That shot with Bucky (Sebastian Stan) shooting Tony’s (Robert Downey, Jr.) hand alone.

So united we stand, divided we fall – whose side are you on?

You can tweet your support with hashtags like #TeamCap, #TeamIronMan, #WinterSoldier, #BlackPanther, and more and get adorable, character-specific emojis when you do!

The second trailer Disney dropped was The Jungle Book, also brimming with new scenes.

Everything about this trailer is great, from its incredible CGI, to “The Bare Necessities” being infused into the exciting score, and our first chance to hear Bill Murray as Baloo, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Christopher Walken as King Louie, and Neel Sethi as Mowgli, all of whom seem perfectly cast.

Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey. Jr, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Daniel Brühl, Chadwick Boseman, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Emily VanCamp, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle, is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.

The Jungle Book, directed by Jon Favreau and starring Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley, Lupita Nyong’o, Giancarlo Esposito, and Neel Sethi, is set to hit theaters April 15, 2016.

What do you think of these two trailers? What other Super Bowl trailers or ads did you love? Sound off in the comments!
