While Toy Fair 2016 is in full swing, the Toy Industry Association (TIA) hosted the 16th annual Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards and named the best of the best in toys and games from 2015.
Known as the “Oscars” of the toy industry, one of the biggest winners of the show was Star Wars.
It went home with the Property of the Year award, as well as Boy Toy of the Year award for the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon.
Those are big prizes, although not surprising given the huge year Star Wars had in 2015. They even had a whole day dedicated to new collectibles called Force Friday!
Other winners included Hasbro’s Pie Face! Game, Disney Infinity, and two awards for Doc McStuffins.
