Suicide Squad Receiving Reshoots to Be “More Fun”

According to a report from Birth.Movies.Death, Warner Bros. and DC’s next big film, Suicide Squad, is currently undergoing some big changes.

Remember the awesomely edited trailer set to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody?”

When it was first released, I questioned the humor presented in it, and now it seems that was with good reason.

Sources say that the humor in that trailer were all the jokes from the film, and didn’t accurately represent the film. However, now the film is undergoing big reshoots – “tens of millions of dollars big” – to add some fun.

Whether it’s from the positive reaction to that trailer, the negative reviews for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, or a combination of both, I think these reshoots are a good sign overall. I’m always down for more fun, and that sounds like what Suicide Squad is getting.

Suicide Squad is set to come out on August 5, 2016. It will be directed by David Ayer and will star Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Scott Eastwood, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Jim Parrack and Adam Beach.

Do you want this movie to be more fun? Are you excited for it?
