Bob’s Burgers is one of the funniest shows airing right now, helped along by spontaneous musical numbers, an amazing voice cast, and characters who actually like each other. Given its popularity, it was only a matter of time before people started recreating the Burger of the Day burgers. The Bob’s Burgers Burger Book: Real Recipes for Joke Burgers is the result of series creator Loren Bouchard and the Bob’s Burgers writers collaborating with burger blogger Cole Bowden.
Bowden runs the blog The Bob’s Burger Experiment, dedicated to inventing burger recipes based on Bob Belcher’s punomenal Burger of the Day burgers. In September 2014 Bowden wrote that he had been contacted by Loren Bouchard regarding a cookbook of burger recipes, and 18 months later this is the result. The Bob’s Burgers Burger Book contains 75 recipes, both from Bowden’s blog and new recipes written just for publication. The book is full to bursting with full-color illustrations of the cast of the show and the burgers themselves.
The book is a 9-inch tall hardback with 128 full-color pages. It is available now at Entertainment Earth, and is an absolute must for any culinary inclined Bob’s Burgers fan.
