CBS and Interlude Working on Interactive Series for The Twilight Zone

The Twilight Zone is, without fail, one of the greatest television series of all time.

The original 1959 TV show, hosted by creator Rod Serling, was gripping, inventive, and iconic. It still is all of those things today.

It has been revived several times since, in the forms of rebooted series, movies, and rides at Disney theme parks. None of those revivals, save maybe the ride, have been as successful as the original series, but that doesn’t mean CBS is giving up on reinventing the show.

In partnership with Interlude, the studio is working on bringing back the show with, you guessed it, a twist.

This new revival will make The Twilight Zone an interactive experience, similar to the Choose Your Own Adventure books of yore.

There aren’t many more details beyond the new program letting viewers “step in and become a part of the story,” and there’s no release date, but as we learn more we’ll be sure to let you know!
