More Captain America: Civil War TV Spots Feature New Spider-Man Footage

Warning: Article contains possible spoilers.

The 29th and 30th TV spots were just released for Captain America: Civil War (yes, you read that right), and yet there’s not the same feeling of an onslaught of footage that there was with Avengers: Age of Ultron.

I am feeling just the right amount of hype for this film, I can’t wait to see it next week, and the two most recent TV spots only reaffirm that.

In the first one, there’s plenty of new footage, including Steve (Chris Evans) and Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) in a church, which many fans presume is for Peggy Carter’s (Hayley Atwell) funeral (this has been rumored since set photos leaked last May).

The second spot includes new footage of a certain character with particular web powers:

What an appropriate response to meeting the Winter Solider (Sebastian Stan)! Don’t lie, that’s exactly how you would react to a formerly brainwashed superhero having a metal arm too.

The critics are so far more than positive. Out of 35 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, only one is rotten. And the fresh reviews are really fresh. To say there’s an excited anticipation for this film’s release is an understatement.

Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey. Jr, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Daniel Brühl, Chadwick Boseman, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Emily VanCamp, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle, is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.

What do you think of the newest TV spots? Are you excited to see this film next week?
