It’s a good time to be a fangirl. More ladies are creating, writing, starring in, and speaking out in the comics industry. There have been some big changes in the landscape, including fast fan-favorite Spider-Gwen: the long-fridged girlfriend of Peter Parker has returned, and this time Gwen Stacy is her own dang hero!
And the sweet merch is already on the way. Funko’s Spider-Gwen Pop! Vinyl Figure is coming this July. She stands the standard 3 3/4-inches tall and features her instantly iconic white, black, and pink hooded costume.
For those who prefer a softer heroine, the Spider-Gwen 10-Inch Plush Figure, available in August, will be perfect for display, play, or as a cuddly companion.
Next is the latest addition to Diamond Select: the Marvel Gallery Spider-Gwen Statue. Sculpted by Jean St. Jean, this 9-inch scale PVC statue features our webbed Gwen posing on the side of a New York brownstone with a high level of detail and precise paint applications. She’ll be available come October.
And last – but certainly not least – is the Gentle Giant take with the Spider-Man Animated Spider-Gwen Statue. This little cutie is 3 1/2-inches tall and is hand-cast, hand-painted, and hand-numbered with a limited edition certificate of authenticity. She was digitally sculpted and printed on 3D Systems printers, and is only passing the time with her cute yo-yo while she waits for the real fun to start this December.
