Stock Up on Some Nitrous, Because The Fast and The Furious Is Roaring Back into Theaters

It’s hard to believe that it’s been fifteen years (!!!) since The Fast and The Furious – the film that made Vin Diesel a household name and jump-started a franchise rife with vehicular insanity and extremely pretty criminals – hit movie theaters like a runaway semi.

Since then, we’ve had six sequels, each bigger, more bombastic, and more successful than the last, and lost star Paul Walker in a tragic accident three years ago. Movie #8 is currently filming and there’s talk of spin-offs and prequels; clearly, this is a series that refuses to slow down no matter what.

And for those of us who have eaten up every adrenaline-soaked minute, who consider themselves “ride or die” for this found family of auto-savvy Robin Hoods, theaters across the country are celebrating the original film’s 15th anniversary with a one-night-only event.

Mark Wednesday, June 22, on your calendars and reserve your tickets today: it’s officially The Fast and the Furious Day, nationwide. Revel in the nostalgia and take your friends who missed this cinematic classic the first time around. It’s never too late to jump aboard this wild series.

Are you going to be seeing it in theaters? Sound off below!
